We Met In June is a fresh voice on the Norwegian music scene with their dreamy blend of folk-pop and Americana.
The duo consists of the couple Sara Rose Zadig and Gjest Ingeson Kvåle. Their music is both nostalgic and fresh, with clear references to legendary Fleetwood Mac, as well as modern country-pop stars like Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift.
Their debut album "Loving Living" won them the “Breakthrough of the Year” award at Luttprisen 2024.
On September 19, 2025, the duo released their second album "Going Home", featuring two-time Grammy-nominated Marc Daniel Nelson (Fleetwood Mac, Jason Mraz, Joni Mitchell) behind the controls, and award-winning, internationally acclaimed artist Malin Pettersen as guest vocalist on the title track.
